Liberty Mundo (“Liberty Mundo”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an offshore advisory firm that helps clients obtain second citizenships, residencies, offshore companies, trusts and foundations, and bank accounts. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use libertymundo.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
The data controller is Liberty Mundo LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in Wyoming, United States. We operate remotely and serve clients worldwide. For anything in this policy, contact us at admin@libertymundo.com.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors to the Site, people who contact us or subscribe to our emails, users of the AI chat assistant and the Freedom Score assessment, customers who buy through our online checkout, and clients who engage us for advisory or formation services. Where we act for a client under a separate engagement letter, that letter applies alongside this policy and takes precedence if the two conflict.
2. What we collect
Information you give us directly
- Contact details when you email us, message us on Telegram or WhatsApp, use a contact form, or book a strategy call: your name, email address, phone number, country, and whatever you write in your message.
- Freedom Score answers. The self-assessment asks about your citizenship, residency, business structure, banking, and asset protection position. Your answers and resulting score are stored with your email address if you choose to receive your results.
- AI chat assistant messages. Questions you type into the chat widget, the page you were reading when you asked, and, after a set number of free exchanges, the email address you provide to continue the conversation and receive a transcript.
- Order details when you buy through our checkout: name, billing address, email, phone, the product or jurisdiction selected, and your payment record. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and never touch our servers.
- Client onboarding and know-your-customer (KYC) information when you engage us to form a company, trust, or foundation, apply for residency or citizenship, or open a bank account. Depending on the jurisdiction this can include a copy of your passport or national ID, proof of address, source-of-funds and source-of-wealth documentation, professional references, bank statements, tax identification numbers, information about family members included in an application, and, for some programs, police clearance certificates and medical certificates. We ask for these because registered agents, regulators, banks, and immigration authorities require them. We don’t collect them for any other reason.
- Newsletter and report sign-ups: your email address and, where asked, your name and interests.
- Comments left on articles: name, email, website, and the comment text.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, time on page, referring site, approximate location (country and city level), browser, operating system, screen size, and a randomized identifier that lets us tell returning visitors from new ones. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See section 7.
- Local storage in your browser used by the chat assistant to remember your session so a conversation survives a page reload. This stays on your device; you can clear it at any time through your browser.
- Server and security logs including IP address, request timestamps, and user agent, collected by our hosting provider and by Cloudflare, which sits in front of the Site to block attacks and speed up delivery.
Information from third parties
When we act for you as a client we may receive information about you from registered agents, banks, immigration authorities, due-diligence providers, and public registries in the course of processing your matter. We may also receive basic contact details if a partner or referrer introduces you to us with your consent.
3. How we use your data
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (where GDPR or UK GDPR applies) |
|---|---|---|
| Responding to enquiries and strategy call requests | Contact details, message content | Steps at your request before entering a contract; legitimate interest in answering people who contact us |
| Delivering the Freedom Score assessment and sending your results | Quiz answers, email | Consent (you choose to submit); legitimate interest in providing the tool |
| Running the AI chat assistant and sending you a transcript | Chat messages, page context, email | Consent; legitimate interest in providing the assistant |
| Processing orders and payments, issuing invoices | Order and billing details, payment record | Performance of a contract; legal obligation (accounting and tax records) |
| Providing advisory and formation services, submitting applications, opening accounts | Onboarding and KYC information | Performance of a contract; legal obligation (anti-money-laundering and sanctions rules that apply to us and to the agents and banks we work with) |
| Sending newsletters, reports, and offers | Email, name, interests | Consent; for existing clients, legitimate interest in keeping you informed (with an unsubscribe link in every message) |
| Measuring and improving the Site and its content | Analytics and device data | Consent for analytics cookies where required; otherwise legitimate interest |
| Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection | Server logs, IP address, order data | Legitimate interest in keeping the Site and our clients safe; legal obligation |
| Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims | Any relevant records | Legitimate interest; legal obligation |
We don’t use your personal data for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. The Freedom Score gives you an indicative score based on your own answers; it doesn’t decide anything about the services we’ll offer you.
4. The AI chat assistant
The chat widget on the Site is powered by an AI language model. Messages you send are transmitted to our automation platform and to the AI provider so a reply can be generated, and a record of the exchange is stored so we can follow up if you leave your email and so we can improve the assistant. Don’t type passport numbers, bank details, or other sensitive information into the chat. If a matter needs that level of detail, email us or book a call and we’ll set up a secure channel.
The assistant provides general information only. It isn’t legal, tax, or financial advice and it isn’t a substitute for a conversation with us about your specific situation.
5. Who we share data with
We never sell personal data and we don’t share it with advertisers. We share it with the following categories of recipient, only to the extent needed for the purpose:
- Service providers that run the Site and our operations: web hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare), analytics (Google), email delivery and newsletters (Mailchimp), workflow automation (Make.com), the database that stores chat and lead records (Supabase), the AI provider behind the chat assistant, payment processing (Stripe for card payments; Wise for bank transfers), and our accounting software. Each of these acts on our instructions under a contract that restricts what they can do with the data.
- Professionals and agents involved in your matter when you become a client: registered agents and corporate service providers in the chosen jurisdiction, licensed immigration agents, law firms, notaries, trustees and foundation councils, banks and payment institutions, and independent due-diligence firms. These parties are often separate data controllers with their own obligations, and many are legally required to carry out identity and source-of-funds checks on you.
- Government and regulatory bodies such as company registries, citizenship and immigration units, tax authorities, and financial regulators, where a filing or application requires it, or where we’re legally compelled to disclose.
- Professional advisers to us (lawyers, auditors, insurers) under confidentiality.
- A buyer or successor if Liberty Mundo is sold, merged, or reorganised, in which case your data would pass to the new owner under the same protections.
6. International transfers
Liberty Mundo works across more than 100 jurisdictions, so by the nature of the service your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the one you live in, including countries that don’t have data protection laws equivalent to the EU, UK, or your home country. Transfers to our service providers are covered by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognised safeguard where the law requires one. Transfers to agents, banks, and authorities in the jurisdiction you’ve chosen are necessary to perform the contract you’ve asked us to carry out; you should assume that the data protection regime of that jurisdiction will apply to the data once it’s there.
7. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
| Type | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps your shopping cart and checkout session working, remembers login state for registered users, and supports Cloudflare security checks | Session, or up to 30 days |
| Analytics (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguishes visitors and measures how pages are used so we can improve content | Up to 2 years |
| Functional (local storage) | Remembers your chat assistant session and whether you’ve dismissed notices | Until cleared |
| Comment cookies | Optionally remembers your name and email for the next comment | 1 year |
Where local law requires it, analytics cookies are only set after you accept them through the cookie notice, and you can withdraw that choice at any time through your browser settings or the cookie notice. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with Google’s browser add-on. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the checkout from working.
8. How long we keep data
- Enquiries that don’t become client matters: up to 24 months from last contact, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back.
- Freedom Score results and chat transcripts: up to 24 months, unless you become a client, in which case they’re kept with your client file.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we don’t email you again by mistake.
- Orders, invoices, and payment records: at least 7 years to meet accounting and tax requirements.
- Client files and KYC documents: for the life of the engagement and then for the period required by the anti-money-laundering rules of the jurisdictions involved, typically 5 to 7 years after the relationship ends. Some registered agents and banks are required to keep their own copies for longer, and we can’t shorten their retention.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics event data is retained for up to 14 months and then aggregated.
- Server logs: typically 30 to 90 days.
9. How we protect data
The Site is served over HTTPS and sits behind Cloudflare. Client documents are exchanged through encrypted channels rather than plain email attachments wherever possible, stored with access limited to the team members working on your matter, and shared with agents and banks only through their secure onboarding portals or encrypted transfer. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever discover a breach that puts your rights at risk we’ll notify you and any relevant regulator as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
- to access the data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- to have inaccurate data corrected;
- to have data erased where we no longer need it (this doesn’t override retention periods imposed by law, and we can’t delete records that an agent, bank, or authority is required to keep);
- to restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing, which you can stop at any time by using the unsubscribe link or emailing us;
- to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, without affecting anything done before withdrawal;
- to data portability for data you’ve provided to us that we process by automated means under contract or consent;
- to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you’re in the EU or EEA that’s the data protection authority in your country; in the UK it’s the Information Commissioner’s Office.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it’s used and shared, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We don’t sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there’s nothing to opt out of on that front.
To exercise any of these rights, email admin@libertymundo.com from the address we hold for you, or tell us how we can verify your identity. We’ll respond within one month, or sooner where the law requires, and we won’t charge a fee unless a request is clearly excessive.
11. Marketing communications
We send newsletters, special reports, and occasional offers to people who’ve signed up for them, downloaded a report, completed the Freedom Score, used the chat assistant and left an email, or become clients. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out by emailing us. Unsubscribing from marketing doesn’t stop transactional messages about an order or matter we’re handling for you.
12. Children
The Site and our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 except where a parent or guardian includes a dependent child in a residency or citizenship application, in which case the child’s data is processed only for that application and under the parent’s authority.
13. Links to other sites
Articles on the Site link to government portals, regulators, and other third-party sites. We aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices, and this policy doesn’t apply once you leave libertymundo.com. Sharing buttons that post to X, Facebook, LinkedIn, or WhatsApp open those services directly; no data is sent to them unless you click.
14. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy when our practices or the law change. Material changes will be flagged on the Site or, for clients, by email. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
